Patch 3.02 for Tekken 8 added Bob to the game. He’s the second DLC fighter to join via Season 3 after Kunimitsu.
It would seem that Bandai Namco has recently become aware of a few bugs within Tekken 8 that are in need of being addressed. It’s been announced that a new patch is set to drop tonight as a result.
According to Bandai Namco, the patch is set to go live tonight at 7:00 p.m. PT and 10:00 p.m. ET. The main purpose of this patch is to address bugs associated with Kuma and Panda’s “Bear Roll” move when used under specific circumstances.
Of course, this means that a maintenance period will be necessary in order for this patch to be implemented. As such, servers will be down starting at 6:30 p.m. PT and 9:30 p.m. ET.
For now, it’s unknown if there will be any other relevant adjustments made to the roster with this patch. However, Bandai Namco has indicated that patch notes will go live around the time in which the maintenance period concludes.
Once completed, the game’s version will update to “version 3.02.02,” which suggests that this isn’t intended to be a major patch that’ll shake up the meta.
