Jalaiyan Karate Dojo (IFK Tehran) will organize the **JKD Kumite Challenge 2026**, a two-round kumite event for members of **JKD Academy / IFK Tehran** at the JKD Sport Centre in Tehran, Iran.
The challenge will give participants from different age groups the opportunity to test their endurance, fighting spirit and technical skills through a demanding series of consecutive kumite bouts.
The **first round** will take place on **September 19, 2026**, with the following format:
* **U16:** 10 Kumite
* **U18:** 20 Kumite
* **18+:** 30 Kumite
The **second round**, scheduled for **December 25, 2026**, will raise the intensity of the challenge:
* **18–21:** 40 Kumite
* **21+:** 50 Kumite
Both rounds will be held at the **JKD Sport Centre, Tehranpars, Tehran, Iran**.
The Kumite Challenge will be supervised by **Shihan Rasool Jalaiyan (5th Dan)**, IFK International Referee, Co-founder and Chief Instructor of JKD, and **Sensei Mahdi Jalaiyan (4th Dan)**, IFK International Judge, Co-founder and Dojo Operator of JKD.
The initiative aims to provide JKD Academy and IFK Tehran members with another opportunity to develop their physical and mental endurance through intensive kumite practice while strengthening the values and spirit of Kyokushin karate.
