Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls is set to be released on August 6, 2026. Arc System Works is taking a rather unique approach by making the game into a 4v4 fighter.
The characters revealed thus far for Marvel Tokon’s base roster are Captain America, Iron Man, Storm, Spider-Man, Ghost Rider, Storm, Dr. Doom, Star-Lord, Wolverine, Magik, Danger, Peni Parker, Hulk and Shuri (Black Panther).
Captain America has taken charge of The Fighting Avengers, leading Iron Man, Hulk and Shuri. Meanwhile, Storm is acting as the leader for The Unbreakable X-Men, which features Wolverine, Magik and Danger as members.
We also know that Spider-Man is leading The Amazing Guardians alongside Ms. Marvel, Star-Lord and Peni Parker. This only leaves Ghost Rider and Dr. Doom’s team members unaccounted for.
Being that we know that Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls will initially feature a roster made up of 20 fighters, this means that Ghost Rider and Dr. Doom’s teams will both need three more members apiece. Just like with other teams, member selection will likely revolve around themes that are similar enough to Ghost Rider and Dr. Doom, the two confirmed team leaders for the remaining two squads.
Famitsu apparently had the opportunity to discuss details about Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls at Evo Japan 2026. Some major hints about the remaining characters were provided during this discussion.
Likely to the surprise of nobody, Dr. Doom is going to be leading a team of villains. Thus far, we’ve only had characters with heroic qualities appear on the Marvel Tokon roster with the exception of Dr. Doom.
“Ghost Rider is an anti-hero, so he will be on an outlaw team. The other three members also seem to be quite eccentric characters.”
As for Ghost Rider, he will apparently be heading an anti-hero and outlaw team. It’s noted that the three members that Ghost Rider is working alongside are “eccentric.”

Possibilities that immediately come to mind are Deadpool, Punisher, Black Cat, Winter Soldier, Scarlet Witch, Magneto, Moon Knight, Blade, Elektra, Venom and quite a few others. Deadpool in particular feels like he’d fit the aforementioned “eccentric” criteria.
