It’s been over a year since Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves was released on April 24, 2025 for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PC and Xbox Series. SNK plans on releasing the game digitally for the Switch 2 on October 22, 2026, though those that want a physical copy will have to wait until January 2027.
Although Fatal Fury is only being priced at $19.99 at the moment, some gamers still might be interested in giving the game a try before committing to a purchase. Starting today, SNK is allowing fighting game fans to try a demo version of the game for free beforehand.
The available characters within this demo version are Rock, Terry, Hotaru, Preecha, Vox and Mai. Of course, there are 17 fighters included in the base roster for the full game while there are even more with DLC.
For this demo, players have access to Arcade Mode, Classic Versus, Training, Tutorial, Trials and Color Edit. Players can choose between Arcade Style and Smart Style control schemes.
It’s important to highlight that player vs. player gameplay is not available within the Classic Versus mode for the demo. A player can only play against the computer, or spectate computer versus computer match ups.
