BAM, also known as Battle Arena Melbourne, is back for its 16th installment this year and as always it’ll be taking place in Melbourne, Australia.

Notable players attending include DNF|Ulsan, Zeta|Higuchi, AG|Kilzyou, CR|Shuto, CR|DualKevin, Reject|Hinao, LV|Tantanmen, CR|Dogura, Yagami, ONIC|Rest, Saishunkan|Kobayan, Riddle|Jr., GS|Gamera, TM|NoahTheProdigy, Falcons|Micky, Naoooonn, ONIC|Booce Lee, Saishunkan|Cosa, SR|NuckleDu, Varrel|Tokido, Madkof, Scarz|Masao, G8S|Pugera, DFM|Itabashi Zangief, G8S|Gachikun, Bobby, WBG|Dee-On Grey and many more.

This is a Premier Event on the Capcom Pro Tour so it’s a very important stop for anyone hoping to make the Capcom Cup this year.

Besides that, it’s also a Challenger Event for Tekken 8 on the Tekken World Tour, a SNK World Championship event for Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, Samurai Shodown and King of Fighters 15, a Four Star event for Granblue Fantasy Versus Rising on the GBVS World Tour, a part of the Virtua Fighter Open Championship tour and also the 2XKO Challenger Series circuit.

Street Fighter 6 has the strongest showing with more than 230 participants followed by Tekken 8 which has over 180 signups. 2XKO surpassed 40 participants while Guilty Gear Strive, Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. World Stage, Samurai Shodown and Capcom vs. SNK 2 all surpassed 20 signups each.

There will also be tournament play for King of Fighters 15, Mortal Kombat 1, Pokkén Tournament DX, Granblue Fantasy Versus Rising, Dead or Alive 6, Marvel vs. Capcom 2, Killer Instinct, Soul Calibur 6 and Touhou Hisoutensoku.

Streaming is being done at Capcom Fighters, Couch Warriors, Couch Warriors 2, New Game Plus TV, Aus Kombat and Couch Warriors Smash.
