Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) on Broadway?UFC dropped a tongue-in-cheek 30-second promotional spot today (Tues., Feb. 17, 2026) parodying a theatrical production titled “Fight! The Musical.” The over-the-top ad features Dustin Poirier, Miesha Tate, Cory Sandhagen, Rose Namajunas, and Chael Sonnen performing dramatic ballads and exaggerated dance numbers inside a stage designed to resemble an Octagon.Yes, it’s as ridiculous as it sounds.Complete with campy choreography, theatrical lighting, and full-blown Broadway flair, the commercial leans hard into the absurdity— and then quickly pivots to promote Black Rifle Coffee Company, the UFC’s longtime partner and “Official Coffee of UFC” in the United States. The…
Building a big back is a priority for competitive bodybuilders, so it’s reassuring to hear that technique is more important than genetics when it comes to adding muscle mass. That’s exactly what 2025 Arnold Classic Champion Mike Sommerfeld’s trap row technique asserts in one of his recent Instagram posts, demonstrating the benefits of the back-building move for terrific results. Taking us through the seated trap row machine, the gigantic German explained that this exercise targets the huge trapezius muscles that stretch from the neck and shoulders right down to the mid back. Increasing mass in the trapezius muscles will create…
See GlobalData’s recently published ‘Ireland Defense Market Data 2026-2035‘ for more information. Since its inception as an independent state, Ireland has maintained a policy of neutrality. Initial considerations to join Nato during its founding in 1949 stalled on the issue of entering a formal alliance with the UK while the latter still maintained control over Northern Ireland. Nato membership remains highly unpopular among the Irish public, and the country instead participates in the alliance’s Partnership for Peace (PfP) program. In the wake of 9/11, the newly established Office of the Director of National Intelligence produced the nation’s first National Intelligence Strategy, a document explicitly intended to guide reforms to the intelligence community and help prevent another terrorist attack on the U.S. homeland. The challenges U.S. intelligence faces today are no less dramatic. While crises in Ukraine, Iran, and Venezuela have each been driven by their own internal logics, together they reflect profound shifts in the balance and nature of power as a new international order begins to take shape. These shifts — a more contested strategic environment; accelerating technology…
WASHINGTON — General Atomics’ LongShot program is aiming to have its first flight test “as early as the end of 2026,” — three years after the company first said tests would begin, the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) announced today. DARPA views LongShot — an unmanned aircraft system dropped from a bomber or fighter that can launch missiles of its own — as potentially useful for both the Air Force and Navy. Dubbed the X-68A, the aircraft has completed a series of milestone tests and trials bringing the platform “closer to flight testing,” the statement says. The flight tests…
WASHINGTON — The Trump administration’s plans for a “Maritime Golden Age” hinges on bolstering the US shipbuilding industry —which has lagged behind China — and boosting US-built and flagged ships for global commerce, according to its new Maritime Action Plan. The plan, which comes just after Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth launched his “Arsenal of Freedom” tour last month calling for a reinvigoration of the US industrial base and shipbuilding, was released Friday and proposes establishing Maritime Prosperity Zones to encourage investment in new waterfront communities separate from the traditional coastal shipyards. Likewise, these zones would receive certain regulatory relief,…

Over the last two decades, the Army and Defense Health Agency have made meaningful progress in perinatal care and support. Yet despite expanded screening, education and policy attention, a critical population remains largely invisible and unconsidered: fathers and nonbirthing partners, such as adoptive parents or caregiving partners, among others. This omission is not without consequence. One of the strongest predictors of birthing mothers’ mental health is partner support. That finding is not new, controversial or theoretical. A partner’s capacity to provide support is directly shaped by their own psychological health; when nonbirthing partners experience untreated distress, depression or anxiety this predictably…
