It’s been less than two weeks since Street Fighter 6 Season 4’s DLC roster was first revealed, and we’re already about to see the first newcomer in action.
Capcom just announced that Yasmine’s gameplay trailer is releasing tomorrow, June 17.
The trailer is set to go live at 4 p.m. PT / 7 p.m. ET tomorrow, so we have just under a day left to wait.
This won’t be only the first time we’re seeing Yasmine’s gameplay but also what her in-game model looks like in general since she was only seen in the brief animation and artwork before.
Capcom jumping straight to a gameplay reveal seems to answer a question that fans had been asking about how Street Fighter 6’s content is going to be handled moving forward.
Previously, SF6 DLC characters would first be shown in a teaser trailer around a month or so before their actual gameplay trailer, which showed off part of the new fighter’s World Tour story introduction.
Considering Capcom stated that Ingrid is the final character to be added to World Tour mode, it appears the team is going to be just skipping that first teaser trailer entirely if they continue like this for the rest of Season 4.
Capcom recently shared some additional details about Yasmine and the other Season 4 characters including Final Fantasy’s Tifa Lockhart and newcomer Arjun.
Street Fighter’s first Filipina character wields a karambit knife and battles using Eskrima and Silat martial arts from the region.
So while we don’t know exactly what her gameplay will be like just yet, Yasmine is probably going to have some quick knife strikes as well as some counters.
If they keep things the same as prior seasons, Capcom should also be providing a gameplay and mechanic breakdown for her moves right after the trailer drops.
Yasmine is going to be the first Season 4 DLC character to release on August 3, which is later than the last three seasons.
She’ll be followed by Arjun in the Fall, Tifa in early 2027 and Bosch later that Spring.
This also raises the question as to whether Capcom will now have anything to show for Street Fighter 6 at Evo 2026 later this month since they’re already putting Yasmine out there now.
We’re still waiting to know as well whether or not the next large-scale balance update will be coming with Yasmine or not since it wasn’t included with Ingrid’s release like Season 2 and 3.
You’ll be able to watch Yasmine’s trailer when it hits the stage tomorrow as well as our breakdown of what she can do as a fresh new face for Street Fighter 6.
