Each year, Spend Matters, a Hackett Group Division, honors a vast array of procurement solution providers by selecting them for our ‘50 to Know,’ ‘50 to Watch,’ ‘Future 5’ and ‘Hall of Fame’ celebration lists.
Discover everything you need to know about these accolades, including who is on them.

For the Future 5, our analysts, now part of The Hackett Group® Solution Intelligence analyst team, scour the market to find new specialist solution providers that can answer a burning need of procurement practitioners today. Following months of debate based on extensive knowledge of the many procurement technologies they have demoed, analyzed and benchmarked, they arrive at a list of five young providers that they believe are innovative and exciting, have a rapidly rising presence in the market, can grow sustainably and which every CPO should have on their radar.
These start-ups are taking technology further than most to address problems not previously solved, or they are introducing a new category of automation that tackles new challenges in interesting ways. We believe these companies deserve greater visibility, especially in a market which is increasingly consolidating and diluting buyer choices.
Today, please get to know Flowie
Here’s how our analyst describes Flowie:
“Flowie is a finance and procurement orchestration platform that integrates ERP, procurement, and payment systems to support coordination across procure-to-pay processes. The platform applies AI agents and graph-based matching to areas such as intake handling, approvals, invoice categorization and compliance monitoring for mid-market and enterprise organizations.” – Meena Ibrahim, Research Analyst, Solutions Intelligence.
We asked Flowie Cofounder & Chief Growth Officer, Rémi Legorrec:
How did Flowie come into being?
“Flowie was born from a frustration we kept seeing firsthand: Finance and Procurement teams in mid-market and enterprise companies were drowning in manual processes, scattered across multiple ERPs, spreadsheets and disconnected tools — yet every solution on the market required them to rip out what they had and start over. My co-founder, Yann Ravel-Sibillot, and I had both experienced this complexity up close – Yann as a serial tech entrepreneur and AI expert (he co-created Sunday, which raised €120 million, and has 15+ years in AI) and myself from my time leading growth at high-velocity scale-ups (Iziwork which raised more that €50 million) and advising enterprises at Roland Berger.
“The gap was clear: there was no intelligent platform that could sit on top of existing systems – SAP, Sage, Odoo, whatever a company already had – and orchestrate Finance and Procurement workflows autonomously across all of them. Companies didn’t need another tool or another dashboard. They needed AI agents that could understand their processes, learn from their data and act on their behalf, across every ERP, every entity, every supplier. That’s the agentic orchestration layer we built.”
What is Flowie’s greatest strength?
“We are AI-native from day one — not a legacy platform with AI bolted on. That’s a fundamental architectural difference. Flowie is built as an agentic orchestration platform where AI agents, users and companies collaborate intelligently. Our agents handle invoice matching, approval routing, supplier onboarding, exception management and document analysis end-to-end. They don’t just flag issues; they resolve them, learn from patterns and continuously improve. We have a dedicated deep research AI team building knowledge graphs, copilots and autonomous agents that genuinely transform how finance teams operate.
“On top of that, we don’t ask companies to change their infrastructure — we make their existing infrastructure work together. Most competitors require a rip-and-replace approach with 18-month implementations. Flowie deploys on top of any ERP combination in days or weeks, not years. And what truly compounds this advantage is our natively viral architecture: when one company joins Flowie, its suppliers and clients gain value organically. That combination of agentic AI, rapid deployment and network virality drives our strong growth.”
What is the road ahead for Flowie?
“Our vision is to become the definitive agentic platform for worldwide B2B financial operations. We’re executing a detailed roadmap. Today, we’re an Agentic Finance and Procurement Orchestration Platform — where AI agents unify and automate workflows across ERPs, handling everything from intelligent intake and guided buying to cash collection and compliance. We’re also building a real-time Data Exchange Platform: a unified intelligence layer that gives AI agents and finance teams shared context across all financial systems and trading partners.
“With these capacities, we’re unlocking a global Trust Network — where companies can qualify, score and transact with partners based on verified data flowing through Flowie, with AI agents continuously assessing risk and opportunity. We are also building a Marketplace of AI-powered financial services (factoring, forecasting, carbon accounting) based on the world’s richest B2B transaction dataset. More immediately, with the e-invoicing reform spreading across Europe and the world, we’re already certified in any country with total compliance. This is creating massive demand, and our agentic approach means companies can achieve this compliance without adding headcount.”
What does it mean to be a Future 5?
“Being named a Future 5 by The Hackett Group® is a tremendous validation — not just for the product, but for the conviction that the future of Finance and Procurement isn’t about bigger monolithic suites or incremental automation. It’s about agentic orchestration: AI agents that work alongside teams, connect systems and companies, and handle complexity that no human should have to manage manually. Having the analyst community recognize that vision means a great deal to our team.
“It also matters practically: it gives our customers and prospects confidence that what we’re building is independently validated by the most respected voices in the space. For a company that’s gone from zero to millions in revenue in less than two years trusted by worldwide enterprises like Eiffage, Stellantis, Accor, Wabtec and others, this recognition reinforces that agentic orchestration is not just the future – it’s already here. And the best is yet to come.”
Many thanks to Flowie for sharing its story with us. We hope the Future 5 broadens our readers’ perception of the art of the possible to help you position your organization for the challenges ahead.
