Paddy Pimblett has once more taken digs at fellow lightweight contender Arman Tsarukyan.
During a recent sit-down with Green Light with Chris Long, “The Baddy” discussed who he would love to face next and also gave a reason why he will never respect Tsarukyan.
Pimblett most recently returned to winning ways at UFC 329 by submitting Benoit Saint Denis in just 52 seconds. The Liverpudlian wants to fight again as soon as possible and has also shared with fans that a fight announcement could be coming in the next few weeks.
During the aforementioned interaction, Paddy Pimblett stated that he would love to face arch-rival Ilia Topuria or top 155-pound contender Tsarukyan next. Pimblett sent a chilling warning to “El Matador” and “Ahalkalakets.”
“Whether I fight Ilia or Arman, I’m going to absolutely rinse their lives. I’m just going to absolutely terrorize them.”
“The Baddy” opined that although there has been bad blood between him and the Georgian-Spaniard since the inception of their UFC careers, he still respects the former two-division champion.
“I respect Ilia, but we’ve had beef for years. I think he’s a little helmet. I’d love to fight him and give him sh*t.”
However, Pimblett has no respect for Tsarukyan, nor does he respect the 29-year-old’s mindset and hustle. He explained why:
“Arman Tsarukyan, I have got no respect for at all. He’s just a rich kid. His daddy is a billionaire. Arman’s a good fighter, but I just can’t respect him. He’s just like, living on daddy’s money and without that he wouldn’t be where he is.”

No matter how much money Arman Tsarukyan’s family has, the Armenian has been striving hard to build his own legacy and name to fund his own crem de la creme lifestyle.
It is evident from Tsarukyan’s activity on social media and his work outside the UFC. “Ahalkalakets” has been busy not only uploading a ton of content and acquiring more fans but also making a ton of money competing regularly in RAF and Hype FC whenever he does not have duties assigned in the octagon.
Why Paddy Pimblett vs. Ilia Topuria or “The Baddy” vs. Arman Tsarukyan is unlikely to happen in 2026
A Paddy Pimblett vs. Ilia Topuria grudge match is what fans have been demanding for a long time. This matchup would have come to fruition if “The Baddy” had defeated Justin Gaethje at UFC 324.
But now the lightweight landscape has changed drastically after “The Highlight” dismantled and dethroned Topuria. Topuria is on the sidelines, recovering from facial injuries he suffered at UFC Freedom 250. The former champ wants to return in December, per his camp, or early next year. Pimblett, on the other hand, wants to stay active and could be facing BMF champion Charles Oliveira soon.
Tsarukyan, meanwhile, will be returning to action next month in the co-main event of UFC 331 against Brazilian knockout artist Mauricio Ruffy. If the Armenian manages to beat Ruffy, he has said that Hunter Campbell has promised him a title shot next.
