The twins T7G|Scorpionprocs and T7G|Nicolas originally made names for themselves at CEO 2021 when they faced off with one another during an epic grand final set. The two were only 16 years old at the time, but were already showing their top tier talent at a massive Mortal Kombat 11 event by defeating everyone else along their way to the grand finals of the event.
Of course, they’ve continued to be some of the best competitors going into Mortal Kombat 1, the next game that followed after Mortal Kombat 11. Now it would seem that the two have set their sights on becoming top players in Street Fighter 6.
As highlighted by Incross, Scorpionprocs recently took down 2G|Blaz, the second place finisher for Capcom Cup 11, at the World Warrior event in Chile. His twin brother Nicolas was able to place within the top 4 of the tournament.
In the grand finals, Scorpionprocs played as Ryu while Blaz attempted to take him on as Sagat. In the end, Scorpionprocs was able to take the set with a 3-2 victory.
Although there are many fundamentals that carry over from Mortal Kombat to Street Fighter, but they are also very different fighting games. The execution and tactics that differ between the two series often translates to most players only ever being competitive in one of them.
However, it would seem that Scorpionprocs and Nicolas are now putting in a special focus into Street Fighter 6. Needless to say, they’re already seeing some impressive results.
