Fans on social media are complaining about the card only having five fights.
“This is a really unusual fight,” DAZN host Lauren Blake Boultier told Brobible. “On one hand, you have a UFC champion and combat-sports legend making his professional boxing debut. On the other, you have a younger professional boxer who also happens to be a Euphoria actor. I feel like Walton is a little underestimated because of the acting. People don’t realize he’s been a professional boxer his whole life. That’s what makes the matchup interesting, and it’s going to be fascinating to see how it plays out.”
“I’m especially curious how Cejudo approaches this,” Boultier continued. “I don’t think he’s going to treat it like an MMA fighter who just decided to box. I think he’ll try to make it his own. The big question is how he closes the distance when there’s no threat of a takedown. This isn’t wrestling. That’s what I’ll be watching for.”
