Brawl Stars has kicked off the Starr Nova event, which is now live and will continue until June 4, 2026. This limited-time event brings a new modifier, powerful Starr Patrol transformations, intense boss fights, Nova Drops, and especially the Void Master Finx skin. In this guide, I’ll cover everything you need to know, what rewards are available, and more. So, let’s dive in!
Brawl Stars Starr Nova event: Overview
So, the Starr Nova event is currently live in Brawl Stars, and it introduces a special modifier that appears in featured game modes and selected Trophy Road matches. During these matches, special Crystals will spawn across the map, and you can transform your Brawler into a Starr Patrol version for a limited time.
So, you can transform into: Starr Patrol Spike, Starr Patrol Bea, Starr Patrol Juju, Starr Patrol Amber, and Starr Nova herself, arriving later. Each one has its own unique abilities and looks far stronger than our normal Brawler, so you need to collect the Crystals before anyone does. Plus, the event includes two versions of the modifier, one for the regular Starr Patrol members and the other for Starr Nova.
Brawl Stars Starr Nova Event: How Starr Patrol leveling works
Just so you know, all Starr Patrol forms begin at Power Level 11, and you can eventually reach Power Level 30 by opening up Nova Drops throughout the event duration. However, the new Brawler, Starr Nova, works a little differently:
- She starts at maximum power immediately.
- And her Crystal becomes available during the second week of this time-limited event.
And, every time you upgrade a Starr Patrol character, you can charge up a special attack against the Void Master Finx on the event screen. You can tap this charged attack to damage him directly.
How to unlock Void Master Finx skin for free
Now, the main goal of this event is defeating Void Master Finx, with every player having their own individual Finx health bar, meaning your progress is tracked separately. And, here’s how you can obtain the skin for free:
- Open Nova Drops to add to your progress.
- Upgrade your Starr Patrol characters.
- Every level gained deals extra damage to Finx.
- Defeat Finx completely and unlock the Void Master Finx skin for free.
The good news is you can still enjoy the event after defeating and obtaining this skin.
Brawl Stars Starr Nova Event: Boss fights
Moreover, the event also introduces two special 5v1 boss battles, each with unique mechanics and increasing difficulty levels. They’re as follows:
1. Evil Colette
During the fight, you need to:
- Destroy her dark book nests quickly.
- Prevent mini Void Colettes from multiplying.
- And defeat the growing swarm of enemies.
2. Evil Boss Finx
And, the Evil Boss Finx fight is actually the main challenge of the event, featuring a two-phase battle. Here, once you defeat Finx for the first time, he returns in an even stronger form, like the Hypercharged Kenji event. During the battle, you also need to deal with:
- A central tower that can either help or damage your team.
- Kit clones summoned by Finx.
- And, once you clear the highest difficulty, you’ll receive a Speedrun Score showing your best time.
Brawl Stars Nova Drop rewards
These Nova Drops contain a variety of rewards, including progression items, cosmetics, and even Brawlers. So, you get a chance to obtain:
- Starr Nova Power Level Ups (40% chance).
- Coins, Power Points, Bling, Gadgets, Star Powers, Hypercharges.
- Nova cosmetics like Pins, Sprays, and Profile Icons.
- Skins across multiple rarities costing 79, 149, 199, and 299 Gems.
- Brawlers across the Epic to Legendary tier.
- And, also Jackpot rewards like 100 Gems or 1,000 Coins.
