Join ARMADA and Cognyte on 2 December for a live webinar exploring how electronic warfare (EW), signals intelligence (SIGINT) and agentic AI are helping military organizations address emerging communications threats and accelerate decision-making.
Hostile forces are increasingly using commercial cellular networks, civilian infrastructure and broadband services delivered by new non-geostationary orbit (NGSO) satellite constellations to communicate. These channels extend far beyond traditional satellite phones, presenting new challenges for military signals intelligence systems designed for a different communications environment.
As adversaries exploit commercially available technologies and generate growing volumes of data, military organizations must adapt their ability to detect, analyse and respond to emerging threats. Legacy SIGINT systems were not designed to handle today’s diverse signals and data-intensive operational environments, creating a growing need for new approaches to electronic surveillance and intelligence analysis.
To explore these challenges and the technologies shaping the future of military intelligence, ARMADA is hosting a webinar featuring experts from the electronic warfare community and Cognyte.
The webinar will examine how hostile communications are migrating onto civilian networks and commercial satellite services, complicating the task of identifying and monitoring potentially threatening activity. As the boundaries between military and civilian communications become increasingly blurred, forces need capabilities that can make sense of signals across multiple sources.
The discussion will also address the counter-uncrewed aircraft system (C-UAS) challenge posed by low-cost autonomous systems. Their increasing availability and evolving capabilities are placing additional demands on military organizations seeking to detect, understand and counter emerging aerial threats.
A further focus will be the role of agentic artificial intelligence (AI) in military intelligence workflows. With operators facing information overload from multiple data sources, AI-enabled approaches could help automate aspects of data processing, identify relevant information and accelerate decision-making. The panel will consider how these capabilities can be applied while maintaining appropriate human oversight.
The discussion will be moderated by Thomas Withington of ARMADA, bringing together operational experience and industry expertise in electronic warfare and signals intelligence.
He will be joined by:
- Alasdair “Gilly” Gilchrist MBE MSM – Senior Consultant, electronic warfare expert and Royal Navy veteran.
- Daniel Willis – Director Sales Military, EW & SIGINT, Cognyte.
Together, the speakers will explore the implications of changing communications patterns, emerging counter-UAS requirements and the potential of AI to help military organizations turn complex data into actionable intelligence.
Don’t miss this opportunity to hear expert perspectives on the evolving SIGINT and electronic warfare environment, the challenges posed by modern communications technologies, and the role of AI in supporting military decision-making.
