VSFighting is back for its fourteenth installment here in 2026 and as usual it’ll be happening in Birmingham, United Kingdom.

VSFighting XIV is a Master Event for Tekken 8 on the Tekken World Tour, a Platinum tournament for Guilty Gear Strive on the Arc World Tour, a Five Star event for Granblue Fantasy Versus Rising on the GBVS World Tour and a qualifier event for the SNK World Championship for Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, King of Fighters 15 and Samurai Shodown.

When it comes to notable prizing, 2XKO tops the prize pool battle with $9,410 divided amongst the top 8 placers followed by Tekken 8 having a prize pool totaling $4,546 and then Street Fighter 6 with a $3,374 prize pool and then Guilty Gear Strive with a $2,923 prize pool and Granblue Fantasy Versus Rising having a total of $1,452 up for grabs. There’s also a special $2,000 pot bonus for Invincible VS.

Tekken 8 tops the entrant count, hardly surprising given its Master Event status, with a count of over 340. Next in line is Street Fighter 6 with more than 250 participants followed by Guilty Gear Strive sitting at over 220 names and Granblue Fantasy Versus Rising landing at more than 110 names.

The newly released Avatar Legends and Street Fighter 3: 3rd Strike both surpassed 100 participants while a special beta tournament for Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls hit exactly 100 signups and 2XKO fell just barely short of the 100 mark.

Soul Calibur 6, Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, BlazBlue: Central Fiction, Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. World Stage, Super Street Fighter 2: Turbo, Ultra Street Fighter 4, Vampire Savior (Darkstalkers), Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, Under Night In-Birth 2 [Sys:celes] all surpassed 50 entrants each.

There will also be tournament action for Dead or Alive 6: Last Round, Def Jam: Fight For NY, King of Fighters 15, Melty Blood: Type Lumina, Samurai Shodown, Invincible VS, Marvel vs. Capcom 2.

Streaming is being done at Tekken, Electronic Dojo, 3WayTV, TronGang, Blessy VF, Kayane TV, Ghost SFO, DQRetro, Sodium Showdown, S1ngho, NGI Events, Flash No 47, FireStar707 and Cakekattekoi.
