And some more interesting references to the canceled Capcom Fighting All-Stars
We’re still around three weeks out from Ingrid’s release for Street Fighter 6, but players can begin preparing for her arrival in style shortly.
Capcom just announced the Ingrid Arrives Fighting Pass for Street Fighter 6, which contains a number of new items for the mysterious magical girl.
As per usual with these Season 3 passes, the premium version includes two new costume colors for the existing cast.
This time around the EX colors go to Manon’s Outfit 3 and Marisa’s Outfit 2 with pallets themed around Ingrid using a mix of purple, pink, yellow and some green.
On top of that, they are of course releasing a new avatar outfit too modeled after Ingrid’s original design with the addition of a bonnet and some cute wings.
More Street Fighter 5 music is included in the premium pass with themes for The Grid, Marina of Fortune, and Rival Riverside while Knights of the Round is the new classic game unlocked for the Battle Hub arcade.
There’s also new challenger screen illustrations for Alex and Luke, a new emote, cosmic challenger screen effect, titles and stickers.
What’s perhaps most interesting is the inclusion of references to the lost and canceled Capcom Fighting All-Stars in a few different ways.
D.D. and Rook are featured as two of the stickers, who were meant to be Code Holders tying into the All-Stars’ story and new characters though only Ingrid made it out of the project in playable form.
And to top it off, there’s a Code Holder title and another sticker for the ‘Declaration of Victory’ mechanic that was supposed to be in the game) as well, so perhaps we’ll see in Ingrid’s Street Fighter 6 story if D.D. and Rook are still actually around in the world.
Ingrid’s premium pass should cost the usual 250 Fighter Coins or $5 USD, which can be earned back by completing all 30 levels before the expiration date.
Street Fighter 6’s new Fighting Pass is set to arrive later tonight / tomorrow morning with the update adding one of the Five Japanese Gods of Fighting Games as an in-game commentator.
Ingrid herself is scheduled to release on May 28 alongside new Outfit 3 DLC for the whole Season 3 roster.
