Release date for both fighters is October 27
2XKO just released a gameplay reveal for two characters, Samira and Sett, who will be added to 2XKO’s roster on October 27, 2026. An official gameplay trailer is available below.
As part of this announcement, the developers of 2XKO said that these two fighters will complete the game’s roster.
It was about a month and a half ago when we heard that 2XKO would be ending support.
According to Riot Games co-founder Marc Merrill, the company required a player base in the high hundreds of thousands, if not millions of monthly users, for 2XKO to be considered sustainable for the long-term.
With the game being shut down, the developers have unlocked all champs, and bundled most of the cosmetic items while refunding all money spent in 2XKO on or before August 20, 2026. As such, Sett being in this announcement came as a surprise.
Shaun Rivera, one of 2XKO’s developers had this to say about this upcoming release on X. “Everyone on our team wanted to give you all one last surprise. They not only poured their love and passion into Samira, but also managed to find a way to do the same with Sett as well. They are both so fun, and we can’t wait for you to get your hands on them. Much love,” he wrote.
