Tekken 8 was originally released worldwide on January 26, 2024. Indeed, we’ve now hit the two-year mark since the game was made available to everyone.
The final character of the Season 2 Pass, Miary Zo, was released back in December 2025. As such, fans are now eagerly waiting on news regarding Season 3 content.
Over on X, Bandai Namco highlighted how this is the second anniversary of Tekken 8. They even released a new illustration featuring Miary Zo, along with various animals (including Panda and Kuma), front and center.
With this, it’s definitely been confirmed that Tekken 8 isn’t finished with post-launch content. Bandai Namco left an interesting message that provides a little teaser for fans.
“The arena is nothing without its Fighters. Thank you for two incredible years of Tekken 8,” said Bandai Namco on X. “We are just getting started.”
Of course, Bandai Namco recently reaffirmed their commitment to supporting Tekken 8 with more DLC even after Katsuhiro Harada’s departure from the company.
