Arjun will arrive in Street Fighter 6 on October 13, 2026. Those attending the Tokyo Game Show 2026 event have the opportunity try Arjun out early.
From the detailed breakdown post of Arjun’s moveset, we learned about the newcomer’s heavy emphasis on converting the opponent’s health bar into recoverable damage on block while keeping on the pressure with attacks that are advantageous on block. On paper, this sounds like a powerful archetype, but how does it actually function during gameplay?
Just recently, gameplay footage featuring Arjun in Street Fighter 6 has been uploaded to YouTube. Of course, it’s important to keep in mind that characters are being controlled by level 7 computers, so a human’s playstyle will likely be more optimal in the long run.
Regardless, Capcom has traditionally only shown a character’s level 1 super art, level 2 super art and level 3 super art during character reveal trailers. They tend to always leave players to discover a fighter’s Critical Art by themselves.
As a reminder, a Critical Art becomes accessible when a character’s health bar is reduced to 25% remaining while having three bars of super meter. The Critical Art animation is different from the level 3 super art and also deals some extra damage.
Arjun’s Critical Art is interesting as he is shown smashing the opponent with a mass of earth that he tears from the ground itself. People are now comparing Arjun to the Hulk based on the way this attack is performed.
