The Ukrainian P1-SUN JetKiller interceptor drones, manufactured by SkyFall, are designed to destroy recently deployed Russian jet-powered Geran-5 jet-powered strike drones.
The Geran-5 is 6.5m long, has a 3.2m wingspan, and a maximum takeoff weight of up to 850kg with a 90kg warhead. Powered by a Chinese TELEFLY TF-TJ2000A jet engine with a thrust of 200kg, it can reach a cruising speed of 450–600km/hr over a range of some 70km. The missile uses a 12-channel jam-resistant Kometa satellite navigation antenna, a Raspberry-based tracker and 3G/4G modems for guidance to the target. It has been reported that Russia is manufacturing more than 3,000 Geran drones a month.
The P1-SUN interceptor can reach speeds of up to 370 km/hr, has a range of 30km, and can operate at altitudes of up to 9,000m, remaining airborne for 15 minutes. Its warhead weighs 500 grams. Its guidance system can detect a target up to one kilometer away. During a combat mission, the crew used a remote-control system developed by SkyFall that allows operators to control the interceptor over the internet while remaining at a considerable distance from the launch site. The P1-SUN Long has an integrated AI module that supports remote control from any location with a stable internet connection.
SkyFall also manufactures a family of FPV drones. The Shrikes are 7-to-10-inch quadrotor drones that carry up to a 3kg payload over a range of up to 30km and speed of up to 120km/hr flying at 800m. Skyfall’s large hexacopter Vampire can carry a 15kg payload over a distance of 20km, flying at 80km/hr. It is equipped with bi-spectral cameras, a frequency-hopping computer vision, GNSS antenna and ARS mode. It has and airdrop system for weapons release and it can also be operated for logistical tasks, including the delivery of medical supplies, and equipment.
