Crasleen Games’ dark-fantasy tactical strategy RPG will reach its full launch on September 7, 2026, bringing the final story missions and the conclusion of Sir Edward’s journey.
Crasleen Games has confirmed that Veterum will leave Early Access and launch in full on September 7, 2026.
The dark-fantasy tactical strategy RPG first entered Early Access on November 27, 2025, giving players several months to test, criticize, and shape a project built around open-world exploration, tactical battles, and long-term army management.
In Veterum, players lead the last army of the Order of the Gatekeepers across a world sliding toward chaos.
The campaign mixes story-driven progression with free exploration, quests, rare artifacts, recruitable units, and a hex-based combat system. Battles feature morale, fatigue, facing, line of sight, weather, and even battlefield illumination, while maps include interactive elements that can be manipulated during fights.

According to the developers, Early Access ended up changing the game more deeply than originally expected.
One of the biggest additions has been the expanded city development and mission generation system, where settlements now have a Prosperity Level and temporary statuses that influence available mercenaries, merchant inventories, prices, and the missions players can find. Player actions can now affect not just reputation, but also the survival and growth of individual cities.

The Early Access period also brought a unit talent system, random world map events, new missions, special locations, unique units, terrain objects, artifacts, potions, visual improvements, accessibility options such as colorblind modes, expanded localization, and full Steam Workshop support. The latter allows players to share custom battle maps, unit stats, and localization files through Steam.
The 1.0 version will add the final story missions, closing the journey of Sir Edward, described as the last Interrogator of the Gatekeepers Order. Veterum is currently available on Steam.
