Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls has been out in the hands of players for almost two weeks now, and the game just had its first taste of the spotlight.
CEO 2026 served as the first offline major for Marvel Tokon with over 1,000 entrants, but which of the 4v4 title’s 21 characters showed up to play the most in the hands of the current best competitors?
Well, we’ve decided to craft a few new Marvel Tokon tier lists of our own based on the character usage of the top 8 and top 64 at CEO.
FLY|SonicFox of course took the whole thing with their team comprised of Green Goblin, Spider-Man, Magneto and Blade, and that did account for many of the other finalists as well.
Interestingly, Spider-Man showed up on every single top 8 team though only once on point, so he certainly took the crown in that regard.
Blade and Magneto weren’t too far behind either with over half of the final teams including them too.
We ended up seeing 12 different fighters in the top 8 with 6 of them being repeats.
That means there were 9 characters who didn’t receive any play time in the final bracket, which is a large portion of the roster.
Since this is a 4v4 game, there is bound to be more character overlap than usual.
Marvel Tokon’s meta is still very early in its infancy as well, but it’s interesting to see where the chips are falling at this stage.
If we zoom things out more to include the top 64 competitors, however, the doors for most of the rest of the cast are much wider.
Spider-Man still sits on top on over half of our counted teams with Blade right behind him at right under the 50% mark.
The rest of the top five most popular characters were made up by Magik, Magneto and Green Goblin while Storm and Black Panther each ended up on at least 13 different teams in the upper brackets.
We ended up seeing 19 of the 21 characters show up at least once, though, Danger and Hulk were the least picked among them.
That still leaves two fighters we didn’t really see at all being The Champion and Ms. Marvel, but they still may have been present.
Please note that are records don’t feature the full team data for around a dozen of the top 64, so these numbers aren’t going to be exact — but they’re by far the best look we have.
It is good to see that almost every character was picked multiple times in the upper brackets so we’ll have to see where things go from here as the game continues to progress.
