One of the main things that have been talked about throughout the last few weeks in the Street Fighter 6 community is just how where Arjun is when it comes to strength.
There’s been debate back and forth on whether he’s good or bad, with most agreeing that whatever the case may be, he does not seem to be in the middle but is more likely to be at one of the extremes. One of the players who has discussed Arjun the most is content creator Broski, and he appears to have realized that he may want to make a big switch to him long-term.
It was only about a week ago that Broski himself said that Arjun was “probably the single hardest character when it comes to figuring out his competitive potential” and this sentiment has been repeated a lot across the community.
This previous weekend, we did see AG|Vxbao winning the Chinese World Warrior Finals in the Capcom Pro Tour to qualify for Capcom Cup 13 using mostly Arjun, but also some M. Bison, though it has to be noted that Vxbao has qualified for big events many time in the past using a wide variety of characters.
With Capcom Cup several months away, it remains to be seen if Vxbao will even use Arjun at the main event or if he was just bringing him out due to potential character unfamiliarity on the part of his opponents.
Broski hasn’t said either whether he believes Arjun is strong or not, but has simply remarked on X that the character has been “calling to me like the green goblin mask lately”, referencing the 2002 Spider-Man movie where Norman Osborn gradually loses his mind to the Green Goblin persona inside him.
In his X post, Broski explains that since the Capcom Pro Tour is over for him for the season, he has a long time to see what he wants to do for the next competitive season so while he isn’t committing to Arjun already, he’s definitely going to be exploring the character thoroughly in the months to come.
You can see his full post below.
CPT season is over for me so ive got a lot of time to figure out what i want to do from here (so im not committing to anything just yet), but he’s calling to me like the green goblin mask lately

As for Arjun himself, there are plenty of clips showcasing Broski’s prowess and enjoyment of the character. Below, you can see a clip from SF6Play showing Broski enjoying Arjun’s capacity to build up grey life damage and then cash it out.

It’s not hard to see why one would enjoy such a differently styled character in Street Fighter 6, but we’ll see how viable he ends up being once people start figuring him out.
Whatever the case may be, look forward to Broski bringing a lot of Arjun gameplay to the forefront, likely for the next few months, even if he ends up not swapping over to him as his main character.
