The Organizing Committee of K-DEX 2026 has confirmed that the inaugural edition of the Korea International Army Defense Exhibition will take place from December 8 to 11, 2026, at KINTEX Exhibition Center 2 in Goyang, Republic of Korea.
K-DEX 2026 represents a new chapter for Korea’s defense exhibition industry, following the Republic of Korea Ministry of National Defense’s decision to integrate the country’s two leading ground defense exhibitions—KADEX and DX KOREA—into a single international platform.
Designed to strengthen Korea’s position as a global defense business hub, the new exhibition will bring together government organizations, armed forces, defense manufacturers, research institutes, technology developers, official delegations, and international buyers under one event.
The integration combines the industry experience, international networks, and operational expertise built by both exhibitions over many years. By consolidating these strengths, K-DEX aims to provide exhibitors and visitors with a more comprehensive business environment while promoting greater international participation and more effective defense cooperation.
Hosted by the Korea Defense Industry Association (KDIA), the Association of the Republic of Korea Army (AROKA), and the Korea Defense Industry MICE Association (KDM), K-DEX 2026 will present the latest developments across the land defense sector and emerging military technologies.
The exhibition will feature defense solutions spanning command and control systems, tactical communications, armored and tactical mobility platforms, firepower systems, force protection, logistics and sustainment, aerospace technologies, unmanned systems, artificial intelligence, robotics, and other next-generation capabilities supporting future military operations.
Beyond the exhibition floor, K-DEX 2026 will organize an extensive international business program involving official military and government delegations, procurement authorities, defense attachés, senior defense industry executives, and approximately 100 carefully selected overseas buyers.
Participants will engage through G2G, G2B, and B2B meetings, alongside conferences, seminars, and networking events designed to encourage procurement discussions, technology exchange, industrial cooperation, and long-term partnership development.
As Korea continues to expand its presence in the global defense market, K-DEX is expected to serve as a strategic gateway connecting international defense organizations with Korean defense companies, government institutions, and technology partners. The organizers anticipate that the exhibition will contribute to new export opportunities, collaborative research, joint development programs, and broader international cooperation.
Looking ahead, K-DEX aims to establish itself as one of Asia’s leading international defense exhibitions, providing a long-term platform where governments, armed forces, industry leaders, academia, and research organizations can exchange expertise and collaborate on the technologies shaping the future security environment.
Further information on exhibitor participation, official delegation programs, conferences, buyer invitations, and visitor registration will be announced through the official K-DEX communication channels.
