Ilia Topuria‘s manager, Malki Kawa, has confirmed that they are interested in just ‘one’ fight, and it might be pretty obvious.
Topuria, at UFC Freedom 250, suffered a devastating TKO (via corner stoppage) against Justin Gaethje, which also saw him lose the lightweight belt.
‘El Matador’ suffered brutal facial injuries as well in the fight, and has only now been active on social media – after a near three-month hiatus.
Dana White recently confirmed that Topuria is ‘ready to fight’ and that a rematch against Gaethje or a Paddy Pimblett fight interests him.
In the wake of this, Topuria’s manager Malki Kawa reshared a clip of White speaking about the former lightweight champ potentially rematching Gaethje or taking on Pimblett to his Instagram stories. Kawa made it clear that they had just one fight in mind – exacting revenge against Gaethje. He wrote:
We want the get back 1000%.

With Malki Kawa Wanting A Rematch Against Justin Gaethje for Ilia Topuria, Belal Muhammad Thinks Otherwise
Belal Muhammad recently stated that Ilia Topuria doesn’t deserve an immediate title rematch against Justin Gaethje.
In a video posted to his YouTube channel, the former welterweight champion reasoned why he felt so. Muhammad said:
I don’t think Topuria deserves it. It was a great fight, but he made you quit. Let’s get you another fight. Paddy Pimblett’s right there; I think the Paddy Pimblett fight makes the most sense.
