Former UFC women’s bantamweight champion Miesha Tate is pregnant with her third child. “Cupcake” in her third trimester, 29-weeks into the pregnancy. The 40-year-old shared photos of herself revealing the baby bump on Instagram.
“Short of breath and cant grab something off the ground without grunting but happy,” she wrote in the post. “Still waiting to find out the gender.”

Tate last fought in May 2025, losing to Yana Santos via unanimous decision. She won the women’s 135-pound championship by defeating Holly Holm at UFC 196 in March 2016. She was defeated by the great Amanda Nunes in her first title defense. She hasn’t officially announced her retirement from fighting but a return at 41 seems unlikely.
Tate has two children, and eight-year-old daughter and a six-year-old son.
