Roger Jr. is the third character slated to join Tekken 8 via Season 3. Notably, Roger Jr. hasn’t been playable in Tekken since Tekken Tag Tournament 2 back in 2012.
In terms of the mainline series, it’s been even longer since Roger Jr. was playable in Tekken 6: Bloodline Rebellion back in 2007-2009. Needless to say, it will be interesting to see Roger Jr. in HD when he’s released on November 12th via early access (everyone else will have to wait until November 17th).
In preparation for this, Bandai Namco has provided some up-close shots of Roger Jr.’s HD model within Tekken 8. The shininess of Roger Jr.’s boxing gloves really stand out in the black background.
It can also be observed that Roger Jr. and his mother are equipped with some impressive bling. They’re both wearing necklaces around their necks.
The fur on Roger Jr. and his mother also looks nice. They really do look like real kangaroos thanks to the hard work of the artists.
Of course, these aren’t just simple still shots of Roger Jr. as breathing and other idle animations can be observed during the quick clip.
Check it all out below:
Starting from November 12, his big, round eyes will gaze right at you 🥊🦘
