Ironhide Game Studio has announced to launch their new fantasy tower defense strategy title, Kingdom Rush 6: Genesis, on Android, iOS, and PC on September 24, 2026, for $6.99. This latest entry to the beloved Kingdom Rush series was first revealed to launch soon on mobile and PC back in February 2026 and is now open for global pre-registration.
Return to the earliest days, command powerful heroes, and defend iconic battlefields
So, Kingdom Rush 6: Genesis TD is the newest chapter in the beloved tower defense series, taking us back to the origins of the Kingdom before many of its legends were born. This time, you’ll witness the early chaos unleashed by a young Vez’nan while uncovering familiar faces, surprising moments, and also the foundation of the stories fans love today.
Soon, you’ll recruit returning heroes, revisit iconic locations, and build strategic defenses to hold back relentless enemy forces. What I’m most excited about is the freedom to experiment with 15 Towers, 12 Heroes, and 9 Spells, each featuring its own upgrade paths. And you won’t get bored that easily, thanks to the 18 Campaign stages packed with unique stage mechanics. You’ll also get to explore 3 different regions across Linirea to alter the past.
Overall, if you’re a fan of this series, you should be happy that part 6 is arriving so soon. And I genuinely think it will be super fun thanks to the familiar charm, diverse game modes, 40+ different enemies, 5 enemy races, 6 colossal boss fights, various Easter Eggs, and more. PC fans are lucky, since they can already try the demo on Steam, and I’m quite jealous, honestly, but I can wait until September.
