Arjun is to join Street Fighter 6 on October 13, 2026. A Capcom blog posted has already provided a detailed breakdown of Arjun’s moveset, which appears to have an emphasis on converting the opponent’s health into recoverable damage that lead to massive payoffs upon finally connecting a hits opponents.
During yesterday’s Capcom Spotlight, fans were told that Arjun would be playable in a special demo build of Street Fighter 6 at the Tokyo Game Show event. As such, fans are already getting a good feel for how Arjun functions.
Reiketsu has provided screenshots of the inputs required to trigger Arjun’s commands while playing in Classic Mode. The move names are in Japanese, but it’s still possible to discern which move is which based on the images and by cross referencing the descriptions from the aforementioned detailed breakdown.
First off, it’s worth highlighting that Arjun has quite a few target combos to work with. Medium kick can transition into heavy kick. Heavy punch can either transition into either heavy punch, heavy punch or heavy punch, heavy kick. Finally, his heavy kick can cancel into heavy punch.
With his specials, we can see that Arjun’s Arm of Justice, Breathing Ring and Indomitable Defense all have manual follow ups. Cruel Shoulder will always automatically follow up into Justice Beyond when used near his placed Divine Pillar.
Like most other characters, we can clearly see that Arjun is a motion character rather than a charge-based fighter. Most of his special inputs require fireball or dragon punch motions, though his command grab utilizes a half-circle motion while his Indomitable Defense uses down, down inputs.
