Clash of Clans is heading into August 2026 with another brand-new hero cosmetic, and this time the spotlight is on the Royal Champion. While Supercell has not officially revealed the upcoming season name or theme yet, the August 2026 Gold Pass appears to be introducing an Aztec/Mayan-inspired Royal Champion skin as the headline reward.

The August season introduces a completely new look for the Royal Champion, taking inspiration from ancient Mesoamerican designs. We can say this is a follow-up from last season, where we had the Barbarian’s Odyssey season carrying similar themes for the skins.
The skin gives her a warrior-like appearance with a turquoise and gold color palette, decorated armor, and a feathered headpiece that immediately brings Aztec and Mayan influences to mind. Her spear also receives a nice touch with a bright blue crystal-like blade paired with golden detailing.
Of course, the official skin name and the exact season theme have not been confirmed yet, so Supercell could reveal a broader theme once the August season is officially announced.
