Earlier this week, an interesting touch of death was discovered for Wolfgang Krauser. This sequence clearly wasn’t intentional since it relied on outright freezing the opponent, which locked them out from doing anything for an excessively long period of time.
Essentially, if Wolfgang Krauser used a super against an opponent immediately after a Guard Crush, they’d experience the lockout. Krauser would then be free to perform any sequence of attacks that he’d like against the opponent.
Shortly after this was discovered, SNK made it clear that this was in fact a bug. A patch was incoming to address this issue.
“We have identified a bug affecting battles in Version 2.0.2. When using Krauser, performing certain actions after triggering a guard crush may result in unintended behavior,” said SNK on social media platforms.
“We are planning to release a patch to fix this issue in the near future. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause in the meantime.”
Evidently, SNK thought this issue was problematic enough for them to directly address as quickly as possible. An entire new patch, version 2.0.3, has been released specifically to deal with the Krauser freeze bug.
Check it out below:

• Resolved: Opponent would lose control of their character if you guard crush them and then perform certain actions.
