Brawl Stars Nori Guide: Abilities Breakdown
Nori’s Attack: Fishing Fury
Nori uses a fishing rod as a weapon, and his main attack lets you try three different mechanics. With Fishing Fury, you slash forward while charging the attack, casting his fishing rod. Plus, the longer you charge, the further you can cast it. Plus, you can use the fishing rod to pull yourself to a wall or Brawler, letting you even dash through Brawlers to deal more damage.
And when you’re at max charge, you can even jump over walls. Moreover, you can collect fish by hitting enemy Brawlers using the Fishing Fury. At once, you can use 10 fish for various abilities.
Nori’s Super: Catch of the Day

Now, with the Catch of the Day Super, you can dive into water, then emerge, dealing area damage after a short delay. And your Super will consume all the fish you collect, which also increases your size by 5% and damage by 4% per fish.
Tips for using Nori’s Super
- Use it after collecting fish: Since Nori’s Super gets stronger for every fish you’ve collected, try not to activate it too early. Saving it until you’ve built up a few fish lets you deal much more damage while also increasing your size.
- Catch enemies by surprise: There’s a short delay before Nori resurfaces, so you should aim where enemies are likely to move instead of where they’re standing.
- Look for grouped enemies: Since the Super deals area damage, you’ll get the most value when multiple Brawlers are close together. A well-timed dive can quickly turn a team fight in your favor.

Best Game Modes for Nori
So, Nori has one of the most unique kits in the game. Between his fishing rod mobility, fish-stacking mechanics, and powerful Super, you can perform really well in modes where you can stay in fights, build up fish stacks, and dive into group fights. So, here are his best game modes in my opinion:
- Gem Grab: Since Nori can do pretty well in a constant-fight scenario, he will be useful around the mine. This way, you can build up fish by poking enemies, then use your Super to force the enemy gem carrier out of position or just eliminate them. Moreover, your mobility makes it easier to chase down enemies or even escape with gems.
- Knockout: I think Nori will really perform well in the Knockout mode. I mean, the fishing road provides you with great mobility for surprise attacks on enemies, and once you’ve stacked enough fish, you can use the Super as a Stronger finisher to eliminate your enemies.
Best Brawler Combination with Nori
For me, Nori already has everything he needs to make big plays, but the right teammates can definitely make his combos even more dangerous. So, you can team up with control Brawlers like Sandy, Lou, or EMZ, as they can slow or trap enemies, making it much easier for you to land your fully charged Fishing Fury and Super.
Tanky teammates like Frank or Bolt are also great partners, as they can absorb damage and distract enemies. Moreover, you can also team up with support Brawlers like Poco or Berry for a more aggressive playstyle.
Best Gears for Nori in Brawl Stars
Damage Gear
As an Assassin, your main objective is to eliminate enemy Brawlers, and you can take advantage of Damage Gear for this. By equipping this gear, you can deal an additional 15% damage to your enemies when your HP drops below 50%.
Shield Gear
With 7600 HP at max level, Nori can benefit a lot from the Shield Gear. You can equip it to gain an additional 900 health as a consumable shield that regenerates in 10 seconds when you are at full health.
