A Korean mixed martial arts (MMA) player who plays for a global No. 1 organization has signed an exclusive contract with entertainment management.
Park Hyun-sung (30), the 19th fighter of the Korean UFC, joined TEAMHOPE on Oct. 15. Kwon Yul, Kim Jin-wook, Bang Hyo-rin, Byun Yo-han, Eom Tae-gu, Lee Ga-seop, Lee Ju-young, and Lee Ha-nee belong to the team hop.
Lee Ha-nee, a former Miss Korea member, was recognized for her acting ability by being selected once for best acting and best actress, and Um Tae-gu was selected once for best actor and best supporting actor. Timhoff said, “We will provide strategic support to expand Park Hyun-sung’s sports career by maximizing his competitiveness through systematic management.”
In May 2024, not only Choi Seung-woo (33), the 15th fighter of the Korean UFC, but also another top Korean mixed martial arts fighter was recruited for the first time in 513 days (1 year, 4 months and 25 days).
Timhoff said, “We will discover not only actors but also talents in various fields that can give hope to the public with healthy content. Park Hyun-sung has a high growth potential. I will help you establish yourself stably on the UFC stage and leap to the international level,” he vowed.
Park Hyun-sung won the Asia Lantern Project Road to UFC Season 1 flyweight (57 kg) tournament in February 2023. Since then, he has won and lost 2 games on the UFC regular stage.
In August 2025, the UFC made a new history of mixed martial arts as the main event for the Korea-Japan war. The UFC’s official flyweight ranking (TOP15) and opponent team have two wins and two losses.
