SEOUL, Republic of Korea — September 2026 — K-DEX 2026 is expanding the scope of its international program ahead of its December debut, combining high-level security dialogue, country-specific defense briefings and direct business engagement within a single exhibition platform.
The first edition following the integration of KADEX and DX KOREA will take place from December 8 to 11 at KINTEX Exhibition Center 2 in Goyang, bringing together defense companies, government and military representatives, procurement stakeholders and international partners.
A major component of the program will be the K-DEX 2026 Global Summit, including the GLOBSEC Korea Dialogue: The Next Alliance.
GLOBSEC is an independent, non-partisan policy institution rooted in Central Europe that brings together government, industry and expert communities to address security, resilience and competitiveness.
At K-DEX, the dialogue will examine cooperation between Europe and Asia through two sessions.
The December 8 session, “Like-Minded and Ready to Act: European and Asian Partners Working Together for More Security,” will focus on strategic cooperation in a changing security environment.
On December 9, “From Procurement to Partnership: Europe and Asia in the Defence Industrial Landscape” will examine the industrial dimension of the relationship, including how defense cooperation can develop beyond individual procurement programs.
K-DEX will complement those strategic discussions with its National Defense Briefing, giving participating countries an opportunity to present national defense environments, military modernization plans, procurement requirements and industrial capabilities.
Eleven countries are currently included in the program: the United States, Saudi Arabia, India, Norway, Finland, the Netherlands, Sweden, Canada, Latvia, Australia and Portugal.
The briefings are intended to provide companies with greater visibility into national requirements and possible areas of cooperation.
K-DEX will then connect those discussions with B2B and G2B meetings, providing opportunities for industry, government, military and procurement stakeholders to engage directly.
The result is a program designed around three levels of interaction: strategic dialogue through the Global Summit, country-level requirements through the National Defense Briefing, and practical engagement through business meetings.
For international participants, the format provides an opportunity to understand both the Korean defense market and procurement priorities in other participating countries. Korean companies can similarly identify overseas requirements and potential partners.
Visitor pre-registration for K-DEX 2026 is now open. Eligible visitors who register in advance may receive discounted or free admission depending on visitor category and can benefit from a faster on-site entry process.

The exhibition is hosted by the Korea Defense Industry Association (KDIA), the Association of the Republic of Korea Army (AROKA) and the Korea Defense Industry MICE Association (KDM), and organized by Defense Expo, MindsGround and MESSE ESANG.
