UFC lightweight vet Jared Gordon brutally humbled an internet troll by rocking him in a sparring challenge.
In the modern era of social media, UFC fighters like Jared Gordon receive their fair share of praise and taunts from fight fans online. The addition of sports betting to Mixed Martial Arts has made tensions between some fight fans and fighters palpable in recent years.
Gordon has fought some of the best fighters in UFC lightweight history, including Charles Oliveira, Paddy Pimblett, and King Green. While he’s struggled in his recent Octagon appearances, Gordon remains a dangerous opponent for many fighters in the division.
Fighters such as Sean Strickland and Kevin Holland have hit back at online trolls by inviting them to spar at their home gyms. Strickland, the UFC’s middleweight titleholder, spars almost daily during his fight camps.
After an online troll invaded Gordon’s comment session, the UFC lightweight announced his intentions to live stream their spar.
“I’m sparring some kid tomorrow who called me out on IG, streaming it live on KICK if you wanna join in,” Gordon posted Wednesday.

It’s safe to say that Gordon likely won’t hear from the troll anytime soon. In the footage above, it seemed the troll took the spar on the rhetorical chin and gave credit to Gordon for the challenge.
Gordon hasn’t fought since a submission loss to Jim Miller earlier this year at UFC 328. His last victory came against Thiago Moises by first-round knockout in May 2025.
The 37-year-old Gordon could potentially return to the Octagon later this year against another lightweight vet. In the meantime, Gordon is enjoying teaching his detractors some brutal lessons in the gym.
