Update: AlietteFaye has updated his charts for the Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls Open Beta. This provides us with an even greater look at the stats since the data was compiled just before the servers went offline.
Previously, the chart was only based on the rankings after the first day of the Open Beta period. Perhaps the most notable thing about the updated stats is the fact that Blade has ascended to the top in terms of being the best assist character.
Within this updated story, the first three images depict the stats for the first day while images four through six are for the entire beta period.
Earlier: The Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls Open Beta is set to span from July 24, 2026 to the end of today. The available characters for players to try out are Captain America, Iron Man, Black Panther, Storm, Magik, Wolverine, Danger, Spider-Man, Ms. Marvel, Star-Lord, Peni Parker, Ghost Rider, Blade, Doctor Doom, Magneto and Green Goblin.
Participants are also being given the opportunity to play Ranked online matches and compete against other players. Though the rankings will very likely reset at launch, there are many that are putting in serious time into the game in order to get the highest possible rank.
AlietteFaye recently took the time to compile character usage stats for Vibranium rank and higher for the Marvel Tokon Open Beta. This provides us with some insight on which characters are seeing the most activity in the highest ranks.
Blade and Magik appear to be the overall most successful combatants right now. Iron Man, Magneto, Black Panther, Spider-Man and Dr. Doom are also fairly strong right now.
However, it should be noted that Magik and Black Panther are outperforming Blade as point characters. Meanwhile, Iron Man and Magneto also seem to have the most powerful assist options, but Blade might be able to fulfill any role in a team.
It’s worth highlighting that Loki, Hulk, Carnage and Deadpool are entirely absent from the Open Beta, so we don’t know how they’ll fit into the Marvel Tokon meta. Additionally, we could potentially see adjustments made to the balance once the game is officially launched on August 6, 2026, so we’ll have to see which characters are the most prevalent then.
