UFC flyweight champion Joshua Van has a message for Alexandre Pantoja in the wake of his big win at UFC 328.
Last Saturday night, Joshua Van successfully defended his UFC flyweight championship for the first time. He did so by defeating Tatsuro Taira in a fight that will likely go down in history as one of the greatest flyweight title fights in the history of the UFC, and perhaps in all of mixed martial arts.

Van clearly went out there with something to prove and although he had to face a great deal of adversity, he came through it really well, using his dominant striking to power past Taira and set himself up for another big title fight in the future.
Some believe that Van will take on Manel Kape in his next outing, but if Alexandre Pantoja is back and healthy to compete, that will likely be the next one given that Pantoja only lost the belt as a result of an injury.
In his post-fight press conference appearance, Van had the following to say regarding Pantoja.
Van’s message for Pantoja after UFC 328
“Yes, you better go get some milk, man,” Van said at the UFC 328 post-fight press conference.
“I walked up to him because when I was celebrating, I didn’t know his arm was like that,” Van said. “After I saw his arm on the screen, I walked up to him. I said, ‘Sorry.’ He says, ‘Sorry,’ this and that, the next thing you know, he waited three months, and then he came and do little interviews. His ‘Panocha’ hurt, so he’s saying a lot of sh*t now, so I don’t know what’s up with him.
“I saw him yesterday. There’s no hate from me. I talked to him. I shook his hand, but I don’t know what he’s got in his head.”
“The Pantoja fight, I wouldn’t wish that on my own enemy,” Van said.
