Former flyweight champion Brandon Moreno has his next fight booked as he’s expected to clash with Charles Johnson at UFC 335, which takes place on Dec. 12 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
Multiple people with knowledge of the promotion’s plans confirmed the news to MMA Fighting’s Guilherme Cruz and Mike Heck.
Coming off two-straight losses, Moreno finally got back on track with a win over Joseph Morales at Noche UFC 3 in September. Following that win, Moreno expressed interest in getting one more fight in before the year was over and now it appears he’s getting his wish
As for Johnson, the 35-year-old veteran has bounced back and forth between wins and losses in his past six fights, which includes wins over Lone’er Kavanagh, Bruno Silva, and Eduardo Chapolin.
Now Johnson attempts to take out a former champion in Moreno as they clash in the final major card for the UFC in 2026.
