IFK Romania will organize its National Summer Camp from 5 to 7 June 2026 in Sibiu, Romania. The event is part of the official annual calendar of the federation and will welcome children and adults practicing Knockdown Karate.
The camp aims to improve the technical preparation and evaluation of athletes according to Kyokushin standards established by Sosai Masutatsu Oyama. Furthermore, organizers continue to follow the philosophy later promoted by Hanshi Steve Arneil, founder of the IFK (International Federation of Karate) and the first European to complete the legendary 100 Kumite challenge after Sosai Oyama.
Training, Examinations and Instructor Meeting
During the three-day event, participants will take part in intensive Kyokushin training sessions focused on discipline, technique, and fighting spirit. In addition, IFK Romania will organize Dan grading examinations for federation members up to 3rd Dan inclusive.
The camp will also include a national IFK Romania instructors’ meeting. Therefore, the event will serve not only as a training gathering but also as an important organizational meeting for instructors from across the country.
Registration and Participation Details
Organizers set the registration deadline for 31 May 2026. The participation fee for the camp is 150 Romanian Lei.
Additionally, participants from other cities who require accommodation assistance are encouraged to contact the organizers directly for support and further information.
The federation will announce the full training schedule and additional event details in the coming period.
Under the motto “It’s Time for Kyokushin!”, the National Summer Camp in Sibiu will once again bring together the IFK Romania community through tradition, respect, discipline, and strength.
