It’s a bit weird to think that Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves released a year ago already, but things are looking good for the game right now.
On top of releasing Wolfgang Krauser and City of the Wolves’ big anniversary update, SNK is also offering up some nice deals to help celebrate the occasion.
Fatal Fury’s latest Legend Edition is on sale for a limited time at 40% off, so it’s probably going to be hard to beat that any time soon.
The Legend Edition was already a decent proposition at $50 considering everything it comes with, but now the package is only $30 for a few weeks.
This version includes the base game and both season passes, meaning new players would have access to everything in Fatal Fury now plus the next two DLC characters too.

But that’s not all they’re doing interestingly.
SNK also just released a new Standard Edition of City of the Wolves at a surprisingly low price as well.
Although it of course only comes with the base game, the Standard Edition is only $20, which seems pretty darn cheap for a major fighting game that just launched a year ago.
That means SNK is selling the Season Pass 1 by itself now too (since it was previously bundled with the main version of the game) for $15 featuring Andy Bogard, Joe Higashi, Mr. Big, and Street Fighter’s Ken and Chun-Li.

The Season Pass 2 is still only $20 for six characters in six months between the already released Kim Jae Hoon, Nightmare Geese, Blue Mary and the new Wolfgang Krauser along with Fist of the North Star’s Kenshiro and one more mystery character still to come.
While these deals are great for new players looking to jump into the game and celebrate its first birthday, this also raises the question again about Fatal Fury’s performance sales wise for the company.
SNK has never revealed how many copies City of the Wolves has sold, but it was probably much lower than the higher ups were anticipating after the massive marketing push the game received for its revival after more than two decades.
That seemingly has little to do with the game’s actual quality, however, as we had a lot of praise for the new Fatal Fury in our review last year — and one of our larger gripes has now been addressed with the complete overhaul of the user interface in the new update.
This sale for City of the Wolves Legend Edition is available on PlayStation, Xbox and PC through May 6.
So for anyone interested in being taken for a ride, this is likely going to be the best deal for Fatal Fury for a good while.
