Steamworld Heist is an impressive 90% off on Steam until 24 April, letting you add this $14.99 title to your collection for a measly $1.49. It’s also offered as part of several Steamworld bundles, including one with its nautical-themed sequel; Steamworld Heist 2 is itself 67% off, making this one of your best chances for robotic swashbuckling adventure!
Ash of Gods: Redemption
- Developer: AurumDust
- Release Date: 23 March, 2018
- Platform: Windows, Mac, Linux, PlayStation, Xbox, Switch, Android, iOS
- Steam Page

Throw in tactical combat with no randomness and adaptable enemy AI, and this game offers a poignant challenge to test your mettle.
Ash of Gods: Redemption is 80% off on Steam, but only for a few more hours as of the time of this writing – by the time you read this, the deal might already be gone, so act fast or it will be back at its regular price of $24.99, rather than the sale price of $4.99.
Broken Roads
- Developer: Drop Bear Bytes
- Release Date: 10 April, 2024
- Platform: Windows, Mac, Linux, PlayStation, Xbox, Switch

In this CRPG, you’ll face bandits and mutated wildlife as you carve out a name for yourself among the wasteland settlements, with an alignment system that goes much deeper than simple good or evil.
Broken Roads is 75% off on Steam until 16 April, taking it from $34.99 down to $8.74. That offer applies to the Deluxe Edition as well, which includes the soundtrack and artbook. You can also get Broken Roads as part of a couple of different bundles, bulking out your collection even more!

If you’re looking for some very cool worldbuilding and smart gameplay with lots of options, ZEPHON has what you need.
Steam has ZEPHON listed at $21.99 until 16 April, letting you save 45% off its standard price of $39.99. You can also get it bundled with varying quantities of DLC to help bulk up the roster of factions, but there’s plenty in the base game to start with.

Nova Hearts

In this dating-sim RPG, you play as a superhero managing your social life between saving the city from certain destruction! Your text chats and dates with other heroes (and villains) determine who your friends, enemies, and lovers turn out to be at the end of the day.
Nova Hearts is still less than a year old, so a 50% discount is quite welcome. If you haven’t gotten it already, you can do so on Steam for just $9.98 until 17 April; after that, it goes back up to $19.98.
Jack Move
- Developer: So Romantic
- Release Date: 8 September, 2022
- Platform: Windows, Mac, PlayStation, Xbox, Switch
- Steam Page

Imagine if Studio Ghibli went cyberpunk, and you’ve got an idea of what to expect from So Romantic’s lovely pixelated JRPG Jack Move. As plucky hacker Noa, you’ll investigate your father’s disappearance and battle a megacorporation by swapping the programs in your cyberdeck to suit the situation as needed.
Jack Move is fairly short, so its standard price of $19.99 is pretty reasonable, but at 70% off it’s fantastic value. That’s what you can save if you get the game on Steam before 23 April, paying just $5.99 for this cyberpunk quest. You can also get it bundled with Black Book to add some occult adventures to your repertoire as well!
Dark Deity 2
- Developer: Sword & Axe LLC
- Release Date: 24 March, 2025
- Platform: Windows
- Steam Page

Dark Deity is quickly proving itself to be the heir apparent to classic GBA-style Fire Emblem. Don’t get us wrong, the new generation of FE titles has been a blast, but the older games had an unmistakable charm to them that Dark Deity has captured perfectly and made its own. The sequel, set 25 years after the original, proves that this indie franchise is here to stay.
Dark Deity 2 is 40% off on Steam until 17 April, bringing its price from $24.99 to $14.99. You can also get it bundled with the original game (which is itself 80% off), or other games like the equally-excellent Symphony of War.
Worlds of Aria
- Developer: Ludogram
- Release Date: 24 September, 2024
- Platform: Windows, Mac, PlayStation, Xbox, Switch
- Steam Page

There are quite a few games that capture the essence of tabletop roleplaying, but Worlds of Aria might be the one that best captures the chaos.
Not only is there combat and puzzle-solving to do with your friends (all of whom can play for free off of a single copy thanks to the Friends Pass system), but the party voting mechanic lets the group make decisions, while allowing for last-second betrayals to keep everyone else on their toes.
Considering you only need one copy, getting Worlds of Aria is a great deal at $5.24, which is the price Steam has it listed for until 19 April. That’s 65% off its standard price of $14.99, or you can get the Supporters’ Edition for $11.49, which includes four additional characters, dice skins, and more!
Menace from the Deep
- Developer: Flat Lab
- Release Date: 11 November, 2024
- Platform: Windows
- Steam Page

Menace From The Deep is a Lovecraftian deckbuilder that actually takes inspiration from Lovecraft. Set in the 1920s, you’ll explore dilapidated small towns and uncover occult secrets that were better left unknown, coming face-to-face with monsters that have no place existing in a sane world.
You can get Menace From The Deep for 65% off on Steam until 23 April, lowering its price from $16.99 to $5.94. The Total Madness Edition, which includes the soundtrack, artbook, and Rift of Sanity DLC, is similarly discounted at just $9.43. Menace From The Deep is also available as part of a couple of different bundles, giving you several options for buying this horror roguelike.
9 Kings
- Developer: Sad Socket
- Release Date: 23 May, 2025
- Platform: Windows, Mac, Linux
- Steam Page

This Early Access roguelite is a bit like a turn-based The King Is Watching, challenging you to build a city on a grid with the intention of defending it from ever-growing hordes. Its stylized color palette and deckbuilding mechanics make it a sleek, impressive title, even in its pre-launch state. This is definitely one to keep an eye on.
If you’re planning to get 9 Kings, now is probably the best time to do so for the foreseeable future.
It’s likely to increase in price after it leaves Early Access, so getting it at half off its current price of $19.99 is a fantastic deal. Steam has 9 Kings listed at $9.99 until 25 April, and it’s also part of a few different bundles with other Hooded Horse titles.
Black Geyser: Couriers of Darkness
- Developer: GrapeOcean Technologies
- Release Date: 17 March, 2022
- Platform: Windows, Mac, Linux
- Steam Page

While our focus here at TBL is strictly on turn-based games, longtime readers know we will occasionally make an exception to draw attention to real-time-with-pause titles.
Black Geyser is one such game that definitely deserves a shout-out. If you’re a fan of classic Baldur’s Gate (the first two games) and other CRPGs of the late ’90s and early 2000s, this tribute to that era is one you won’t want to miss.
Black Geyser: Couriers of Darkness is 60% off on Steam, but not for long. It’s listed at $11.99, but by the time you read this, it may already have gone back up to $29.99, so you’ll need to act lightning-fast if you want to have any hope of snagging this deal.
BloomTown: A Different Story

- Platform: Windows, PlayStation, Xbox, Switch, Android
- Steam Page

If you’re looking for a JRPG that strays a bit off the beaten path, look no further than Bloomtown.
At first, this pixelated journey has hints of a 1960s-inspired Stranger Things, with kids wandering into an alternate dimension, but it gets progressively weirder and more wonderful as you capture and train demons to support your own combat abilities.
Bloomtown has a free demo available on Steam, and if you decide to take on the full quest you can get the complete game for $9.99 until 23 April. That’s 60% off its standard price of $24.99! The game is also offered as part of a few different bundles with other quirky RPGs, so you’ll have more than enough creative fun to keep you busy!

Worldless is 60% off on Steam until 25 April, letting you get this $19.99 title for just $7.99. There’s also a free demo available to try, and the Deluxe Edition, which includes the soundtrack, is just a few dollars more at $11.68.

- Steam Page

Lunarlux jets you into the future of the 31st century, tasking you with unraveling a conspiracy on a retro-inspired moon base!
You can interact with nearly everything, right down to the lunar rocks, and customize your spaceship to visit new locations across the lunar landscape. To top it all off, the whole thing is presented in a fun, colorful pixel and anime style that’s bound to hype you up for the journey ahead.
You can get LunarLux on Steam for just $7.99 until 17 April, saving 60% off its normal price of $19.99. It’s also offered as part of several bundles, all of which come in at under $20 during the sale period.
Dust Raiders
- Developer: Vixa Games

- Platform: Windows
- Steam Page

Dust Raiders lets you live out your Mad Max fantasy, managing your crew and taking control of the wastes with whatever vehicles, guns, and other supplies you can scavenge or steal. Between developing your arsenal and engaging in high-speed battles across the desert, you’ll have your greasy, bloody hands full.
You can try the Dust Raiders demo for free on Steam, and the game is discounted 40% until 24 April. Normally $15.99, it’s available for $9.59 during the sale period. You can also get Dust Raiders bundled with Infection Free Zone (which is 30% off right now) for a different strain of post-apocalyptic danger.
Every Day We Fight
- Developer: Signal Space Lab
- Release Date: 10 July, 2025
- Platform: Windows
- Steam Page

If you’re always in the mood for a good XCOM-like (and who around here isn’t?), you’ll definitely want to check out Every Day We Fight, which has been in Early Access since the summer.
You don’t have hardened, elite soldiers to fight the alien menace this time, just resistance fighters who are all that’s left… albeit with the benefit of a time loop to keep trying each time they fail.
Like 9 Kings, Every Day We Fight is a very promising title that’s worth getting into on the ground floor. Steam has it at 50% off until 26 April, letting you add it to your library for $14.99 rather than $29.99, which is the best deal we’re likely to see for some time.
He is Coming
- Developer: Chronocle
- Release Date: 17 July, 2025
- Platform: Windows
- Steam Page

This retro-inspired roguelite is a solid experience in Early Access, so we expect it will only get better as 1.0 draws closer.
You have limited moves in which to explore the world before a boss arrives; when it does, you’ll have to face them in auto-battler combat, whether you’re ready or not! How you choose to spend your time and upgrade your hero will determine your fate when the time comes.
He Is Coming is 50% off on Steam until 26 April, taking its price from $19.99 down to $9.99. It’s also offered together with other Hooded Horse titles, including 9 Kings.
Phantom Brigade
- Developer: Brace Yourself Games
- Release Date: 28 February, 2023
- Platform: Windows
- Steam Page

This tactical indie mecha battler has always sported some impressive urban combat, fueled by a timeline-based command system that encourages you to predict and intercept enemy movements.
Since launch, it’s gone through a complete overhaul and is now in its 2.0 version; if you’ve been on the fence about trying Phantom Brigade, now is definitely the time to finally give it a go.
A free demo is available on Steam for you to try a round or two in the pilot’s seat, and if you decide to buy, you can get Phantom Brigade for $14.99 until 23 April; after that, the price goes back up to the usual $29.99. The game is also available in several bundles with other tactical and mecha games, offering plenty of options for your growing collection.
