One of the nastier KOs of 2026 just went down in the PFL.
On Thursday, PFL Belfast took place at the SSE Arena in Northern Ireland, headlined by a lightweight bout between Darragh Kelly and Jay Jay Wilson. But early on the prelims, English bantamweight Dean Garnett stole the show, finishing the undefeated Ciaran Clarke in highlight reel fashion.
Clarke came out strong, with the Irish crowd behind him, but just before the two-minute mark of the opening round, Garnett countered a long cross from Clarke, slipping the punch and turning that into a vicious spinning elbow that landed right on the button. Clarke was probably finished right there, but before the referee could intervene, Garnett pounced, delivering some savage follow-up shots to end the bout and hand Clarke his first career loss.
A veteran of Cage Warriors and ACB, Garnett has fought under the PFL banner for the past couple of years in the PFL Europe series, most recently being stopped by Baris Adiguzel in December. He sports an overall record of 15-4-1.
