The Game of the Year Edition, which includes all the DLC, is also 75% off, coming in at just $12.49. Felvidek
- Developer: Jozef Pavelka, Vlado Ganaj
- Release Date: 29 May, 2024
- Platform: Windows
- Steam Page

This short, strange RPG is a great find for history buffs. Set in 15th-century Slovakia, it puts you in the role of a drunken knight whose duty is to drive out invaders, but who quickly finds darker and more sinister threats lurking in the hidden places of the world.
The color palette makes it look like a particularly high-tech Game Boy title, adding a surreal layer to this medieval adventure.
Being a smaller indie game, Felvidek isn’t that expensive to begin with, but any savings are good savings and right now it’s 35% off on Steam. Normally $10.99, you can get it for $7.14, or bundle Felvidek with Roadwarden for $8.40, saving a total of 55%.
Age of Wonders 4
- Developer: Triumph Studios
- Release Date: 2 May, 2023

Packed with spells, unit types, cultures, and fantasy species to build your empire around, it’s the kind of game where you’ll never really run out of ideas and every map offers exciting challenges.
The base game is just $24.99 during the Steam Summer Sale, 50% off its usual price of $49.99, giving you more budget for the aforementioned DLC. All but the most recent packs are 20-30% off, and there are a bunch of bundles and starter editions available to customize your kit.
It’s the kind of game where you don’t strictly need every DLC to get the full enjoyment out of it… but I’m not going to try and stop you if you want to go all-in.
He is Coming

This is likely to be one of the lowest price points the game sees, especially during Early Access, so if you’ve been waiting to give it a try, you might want to consider pouncing on this deal.

1st Chapter, a remake of the original Trails In The Sky, is the best way to experience Estelle’s journey and set yourself on your own trek through the Liberi Kingdom.
Not only does Steam have a demo of Trails In The Sky 1st Chapter, but the game itself is 50% off during the Summer Sale, dropping from $59.99 to $29.99. MENACE
- Developer: Overhype Studios
- Release Date: 5 February, 2026
- Platform: Windows
- Steam Page

The much-anticipated follow-up to Overhype’s merciless mercenary sim Battle Brothers is upon us (in Early Access, anyway), and this time they’re taking a crack at the XCOM style of gameplay.
In this gritty RPG, you’ll command a squad of hapless soldiers answering distress calls against a dangerous alien threat. If Starship Troopers or Helldivers was deadly serious (emphasis on the deadly), it would look like Menace.
There’s a lot to love in the Early Access version of Menace alone, and a 25% discount is just one more perk for the list. The Steam Summer Sale has the game down to $29.99 from its base price of $39.99, offering solid savings on a title that’s still relatively new.

Steam has Miasma Chronicles at a very generous 70% off right now, letting you get the game for just $10.49 rather than its usual $34.99. You can also get it bundled with a few different titles, including Mutant Year Zero or The Lamplighters League.
Expeditions: Rome
- Developer: Logic Artists
- Release Date: 20 January, 2022
- Platform: Windows
- Steam Page

A great RPG doesn’t need to have magic or a meticulously-crafted world; our own history is full of cities, cultures, and conflicts to explore. Expeditions: Rome is a perfect example of this, putting you in the sandals of a Roman Legate, tasked with leading a Legion in campaigns of conquest across the Empire.
You’ll also have to engage in the politics of the Senate and conspiracies that threaten Rome’s stability, making Expeditions an RPG where your choices matter.
You can get Expeditions: Rome on Steam at an 80% discount during the Summer Sale, taking its price from $44.99 down to just $8.99. There’s also a bundle that includes the entire Expeditions franchise, including DLC, currently just $19.86 – also 80% off, and including multiple full-length games!
Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance

- Release Date: 13 June, 2024
- Platform: Windows, PlayStation, Xbox, Switch
- Steam Page

Shin Megami Tensei is the darker cousin of the Persona series, with more hardcore gameplay and some tough, tragic choices to make.
The latest in the series, SMT5 is arguably the best of the bunch by just about every possible metric. It’s a classic tale of the conflict between gods and demons, with humans caught hopelessly in the middle… until you show up with the power to tip the scales.
Shin Megami Tensei V is a must-play for JRPG fans, so getting it at 70% off is a big win. Steam has it discounted for both the Standard and Deluxe Editions, bringing them down to $17.99 and $20.99, respectively. You can easily sink 100 hours or more into this massive RPG, so you’re sure to get your money’s worth!
