Anshul Jubli recently trained with current and two-time UFC middleweight champion Sean Strickland at the UFC Performance Institute.
Earlier this month, Jubli had arrived in Las Vegas and was spotted training with former bantamweight champion Merab Dvalishvili. And now, the Indian fighter has linked up with “Tarzan” at the UFC PI, as mentioned earlier. After hitting the mats with the controversial Strickland, “King of Lions” said:
“Maybe he’s not racist, guys just a guy with a wild sense of humor. Or maybe he’s low-key racist. Either way, it’s a lot of fun and laughter having him in the room.”
Meanwhile, Strickland was super impressed after training for the first time with an Indian. “Tarzan” lauded the budding UFC lightweight, adding:
“Jubli, throwing it down… tapping all of us out. This guy knows his sh*t, bro… He f*cking brought it and shows up, man.”

When is Anshul Jubli’s next UFC bout?
Anshul Jubli is rumored to fight Team Khabib Nurmagomedov’s Magomed Zaynukov next in August. So far, nothing has been made official.
Jubli has revealed to fans that he is currently recovering from a neck and nose injury. Following 100% recovery and rehabilitation, the 31-year-old plans to enter the octagon.
The Indian fighter earned his UFC contract in 2023 after knocking out Jeka Saragih. But, so far, his UFC run has been a nightmare. He made his promotional debut at UFC 294, where he suffered a Round 3 knockout loss to Mike Breeden. Last year, he was knocked out in just 19 seconds by Australian sniper Quillan Salkilld in a finish that many fans believed was stopped prematurely.
“King of Lions” needs to win his next fight to show the UFC matchmakers and brass that he belongs at this level. Otherwise, he could be close to getting cut from the roster.
