Arjun is the latest fighter to join Street Fighter 6 via Season 4. He’s the second combatant to join this season after Yasmine, meaning we’re only waiting on Tifa Lockhart (from Final Fantasy 7) and Bosch to join at this point.
Fairly early into Arjun’s release cycle, many began complaining about the Arjun match up. With such a distinctive playstyle compared to the rest of the roster, players are not able to deal with Arjun with the traditional methods.
Needless to say, Arjun has become the most requested counterplay subject for Street Fighter 6 that Broski has ever received. Within his recent video, Broski outlined important tips for dealing with Arjun’s strong tools, as well as a few of his gimmicks that players were letting others get away with.
In his latest video, Broski attempts to analyze Arjun’s competitive viability. Is Arjun actually a top tier candidate or is he being carried by overrated gimmicks? Funnily enough, Broski isn’t fully able to answer the question.
He talks about how there have been matches where Broski is able to just completely annihilate opponents without giving opponents a chance to play the game against Arjun. On the other hand, there have been plenty of other situations in which Arjun just isn’t able to properly set up his ideal scenarios.
Regardless, Broski does think that Arjun might be the most terrifying character to deal with while in Burnout. This is thanks to the absolutely absurd amounts of chip damage that Arjun is able to dish out with his unique mechanics.
