It may be a bit hard to believe that Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls has been out for close to a month already, but we’ve seen the game develop quite a bit over the past weeks.
Veteran competitor and lab monster Diaphone recently crafted a Marvel Tokon tier list of his own, though, he went about doing so in a bit of a different way.
Instead of just diving straight in himself, Diaphone looks back at tier lists from two of the top competitors in the game being SonicFox, who won the first major at CEO 2026, and the number one online player HookGangGod to see what he agrees and wants to make some changes on.
Where he’s not putting forth many arguments against is in the top tier placements where Diaphone too has a stacked S ranking list comprising of seven characters including Storm, Magik, Spider-Man, Blade, Green Goblin and Black Panther.
He does, however, feel that fighters like Magneto and Deadpool are better than Hook gave them credit for.
The bottom or D tier rankings are also removed entirely where The Champion sat at the lowest point for both.
In his mind, Diaphone sees four characters making up C tier including the big boss man and Danger.
He of course goes into much more detail as to why he thinks characters should be placed where he put them, so he’s not just randomly slotting them around.
We already saw a different Marvel Tokon tier list from Diaphone that ranked characters based on their difficulty, which is different than the viability he’s looking at here.
