Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls will be releasing tomorrow on August 6, 2026. The playable characters at launch will be Captain America, Iron Man, Black Panther (Shuri), Hulk, Storm, Wolverine, Magik, Danger, Spider-Man, Star-Lord, Ms. Marvel, Peni Parker, Dr. Doom, Magneto, Green Goblin, Carnage, Ghost Rider, Blade, Loki and Deadpool.
We also have had confirmation that Phoenix Cyclops will be the first DLC fighter joining the roster later on. Three more DLC characters will also be added as part of the first season pass.
However, it would appear that there might be an extra character that can be unlocked. This would bring the launch roster up to 21 from 20.
Of course, we’re already privy to a leak that has dropped as some players have reportedly obtained early copies of the game. As such, footage of an unannounced character has already surfaced on the internet.
Notably, videos that have shown this mysterious character in action have since been taken down due to copyright infringement claims. This has caused players to further speculate that the character is intended to be a secret unlockable.
Regardless, it seems likely that the developers are planning to drop a new trailer for this 21st character relatively soon.
