On June 7, the city of Salvador, Bahia (Brazil) will host the IV KWU SENSHI Bahia Friendship Championship, an event that will bring together practitioners from different regions to celebrate the martial spirit, friendship, and technical development within Kyokushin Karate.
The competition will feature athletes from several Brazilian states, including Bahia, Alagoas, São Paulo, Ceará, and Amazonas, as well as international participants from Chile, strengthening the exchange and unity among dojos that share the values and philosophy of Kyokushin.
The event will begin at 8:00 a.m. and will take place at Estação Cidadania Itapuã, located at Rua da Ilha, 374 – Itapuã, Salvador, Bahia. The championship will gather competitors, instructors, and practitioners in an environment focused on learning, competition, and the strengthening of the martial community.
Several renowned figures of Kyokushin and KWU SENSHI will be present, including Shihan Francisco Filho, Shihan Glaube Feitosa, and Shihan Tsutomu Morimoto, alongside the event organizer Shihan Manoel Mascote.
The IV Bahia Friendship Championship is organized by the Bahia KWU SENSHI Federation and officially held by KWU SENSHI Brazil, reaffirming the organizations’ commitment to promoting Kyokushin Karate, supporting athlete development, and strengthening the bonds within the martial arts community.
The event represents another important opportunity to celebrate the values that guide the martial path: discipline, respect, perseverance, and camaraderie.
