The upcoming PC release mixes hex-based battles, hero synergies, and roguelite progression, with a demo already available on Steam.
Heroes of Magic and Steel is set to launch on Steam on May 28, 2026, giving PC players a new tactical deckbuilder built around party composition, card choices, and turn-based combat. A demo is already available for those who want to try its systems before release.
The game puts players in control of a three-hero party, with each character bringing their own cards and combat role.
Battles play out on hex-based maps, and the use of cards, in which choosing when to attack, defend, reposition, or save is a stronger option for later, can shape the flow of each encounter.
Players build their deck step by step while facing different enemy groups and tactical situations. Each run asks the player to think about synergy between heroes, card upgrades, and long-term survival.

One of the more distinct ideas is how the game handles card use. In its main mode, cards do not simply cycle back into the deck during the same run after being played. That gives each card more weight and makes every decision feel closer to spending a limited resource.
Outside combat, Heroes of Magic and Steel features permanent progression through hero and card upgrades.

The story is presented through comic-style panels, adding some context between battles without pulling the focus away from the combat loop.
Heroes of Magic and Steel launches on May 28, 2026, for PC via Steam. Players can wishlist the game now, follow the Steam page for future updates, and download the demo ahead of release.
