Yasmine and the Season 4 balance patch are now available in Street Fighter 6. Many players are already trying to uncover just how viable a character that Yasmine is in this new meta.
As such, The FGC Place has uploaded a bunch of videos featuring top players using Yasmine in ranked matches. This provides us with some early impressions on the character’s potential.
Although Kakeru has retired from competing in fighting games, he still enjoys playing Street Fighter 6. He has apparently already achieved the top rank with Yasmine on the Master Rating leaderboard.
The FGC Place has uploaded videos that has Kakeru’s Yasmine going up against Chris Wong’s Luke and Takepi’s JP. This also provides us with a good opportunity to see Luke’s buffs in action.
There’s also match footage of Naooonn, Punk, Kazunoko and Problem X playing as Yasmine. They end up taking on skilled players using Ryu, Akuma, Lily and Sagat.
It will probably be a little while before the meta is able to settle enough so that we’re able to better appreciate Yasmine’s viability in Street Fighter 6. In the meantime, this gives us a good idea on what the character could be capable of.
