The Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls Open Beta has come to its conclusion. As such, the next time players will have the opportunity to play the game is August 6, 2026 when it releases for the PlayStation 5 and PC.
We recently had the opportunity to look at the character usage stats of the players that managed to breach into Vibranium rank. Based on these stats, we have the impression that Magik, Blade, Magneto, Spider-Man and Black Panther are quite strong.
K7 Showoff, a player that made top 17 at Evo 2026 during the 2XKO tournament, released his tier list for the Open Beta. According to him, he put in around 30 hours into the game so he has a decent idea on which characters were strong during the experience.
According to K7 Showoff, the best characters in the game right now are Magik, Storm and Iron Man. Notably, Magik was also the most popular character beyond Vibranium rank, so her being the best does seem to track.
It’s also noted that Blade, Dr. Doom, Black Panther, Green Goblin, Spider-Man and Magneto felt powerful during the Open Beta. They’ve been ranked in the S tier group as a result.
Overall, K7 Showoff felt as though Ms. Marvel was the weakest fighter, though he was unsure about where to place Peni Parker or Danger. Additionally, it’s entirely unknown just how good Loki, Deadpool, Carnage and Hulk are due to them being absent from the beta.
